Your Role
As an AU Bookkeeper, you are responsible for:
Financial Administration & Bookkeeping
- Manage invoicing processes and perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Process credit applications and maintain relevant records.
- Generate overdue invoice reports and execute systematic follow-up procedures to ensure timely payment and healthy cash flow.
- Input payroll details into Simpro, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain unpaid summaries, ensuring up-to-date records.
- Perform account reconciliations through Xero, including the reconciliation of company credit cards.
- Collect and manage subcontractor information.
- Provide outstanding customer service via phone and email, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
- Perform other administrative tasks, including marketing support.
- Identify and implement business improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist other departments as needed to support broader business functions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a varied administrative support role.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience with Xero, MYOB, and Simpro (or similar business software).
- Strong time management and planning skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
