Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Back-End Developer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing scalable and reliable back-end applications and services. The ideal candidate has strong programming and API development skills and can collaborate effectively with front-end developers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable back-end applications and services.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end applications and external systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following development best practices.
• Design, implement, and optimize database structures, queries, and data access processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
• Implement application security, authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in integration and system testing.
• Collaborate with Front-End Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Contribute to technical documentation and development standards.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Back-End Development.
• Strong programming experience in at least one back-end language such as Java, C#, Python, Node.js, or PHP.
• Hands-on experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of database technologies, preferably both relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git/version control and standard software development practices.
• Understanding of application security and authentication mechanisms.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of message queues or event-driven architecture.
• Experience working in BFSI or other highly regulated industries.
