Job Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5+ years experience in web development & security ; proven experience in building integrations
- Eligibility / Certification: None required, but high preference with applicants with cloud certification and security certification
- Proficiency on: Ruby on Rails (Rails), API development (REST), Deluge scripting, JSON handling, and integrations
- Proficiency in security implementation such as : Authenticiation / Authorization, secure coding practices, input validation
- Background in unit & integration testing, API testing, debugging
- Familiarity with Git and documentation, code reviews, working with a product / dev team
- Problem-solving skills and logical thinking
- Appreciation for clean and well documented code
Job Summary
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and business logic for web and internal applications.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection practices to ensure system and user safety.
- Design, optimize, and maintain databases, queries, and infrastructure for performance and reliability.
- Develop and customize backend logic, automation, and workflows within SaaS platforms to support business processes.
- Build and manage system integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, middleware, and data synchronization.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Ruby on Rails and related technologies.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues while writing and maintaining automated tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams through sprint planning, feature delivery, and code reviews.
- Refactor services, improve system architecture, and address technical debt to enhance scalability and maintainability.
- Continuously improve technical skills, share knowledge, and evaluate new tools, patterns, and architectural improvements.
