About the job:

The Backend Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing server-side systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and security. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other technical teams to deliver a seamless user experience. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for problem-solving, clean code, and building efficient backend services.

Job Description:

• Develop Server-Side Logic: Design and implement server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power the functionality of our applications.
• API Design & Integration: Create RESTful APIs endpoints, Queueing, Event-Driven Architecture to ensure smooth communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Database Management: Develop, maintain, and optimize relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Performance & Scalability: Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the backend systems to handle increasing loads and ensure optimal user experiences.
• Security & Data Privacy: Implement best practices for data security, encryption, and user privacy to protect sensitive data.
• Code Optimization & Refactoring: Regularly review and refactor code to improve efficiency, reduce technical debt, and ensure maintainability.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (front-end developers, product managers, and QA) to define, develop, and deploy new features.
• Cloud Integration: Leverage cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) to deploy and scale backend applications.
• Testing & Debugging: Write unit tests, integration tests, and perform debugging to ensure the stability and reliability of applications.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices for backend development.
• Efficiently and effectively integrate AI-assisted tools for faster Development Iteration

Here's what you need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 5-8 years experience with proven track record of successful project implementations.
• Programming Languages: Strong experience with backend languages such as Python, Nodejs, Javascript.
• API Development: Solid experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Frameworks: Familiarity with popular backend frameworks such as Express.js, Fastify (Node.js), FastAPI, Flask (Python)
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, including serverless technologies and containerization (Docker).
• Any experience on using AI Assisted Tools, or developing something using AI
