Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Audit Supervisor to support the execution of internal audit activities in a retail and wholesale distribution environment. The role focuses on conducting audits, evaluating internal controls, and working closely with team members and business units to strengthen compliance, operational efficiency, and risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform internal audit engagements covering financial, operational, and compliance areas.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures across retail and wholesale operations.
- Conduct audit fieldwork including data analysis, document review, and process walkthroughs.
- Prepare audit working papers, findings, and reports with clear and practical recommendations.
- Monitor and follow up on implementation of corrective actions.
- Review operational workflows and processes across retail and wholesale distribution functions to evaluate internal controls and identify improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with different departments to clarify audit observations and gather required information.
- Support special audits, investigations, and ad hoc reviews as assigned.
- Ensure adherence to internal audit standards and company guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Finance, or related field.
- CPA, CIA, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 12 years of audit experience (internal or external audit).
- Experience in retail, wholesale, or distribution environment is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, audit procedures, and risk assessment.
- Experience auditing inventory and operational processes is an advantage.
- Proficient in Google Workspace applications
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Able to work collaboratively within a small team environment.
- Willing to travel to stores and warehouses when required.
