Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for Audit Associate. The Audit Associate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing auditing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and accuracy in financial reporting. Daily tasks include performing financial audits, preparing detailed reports, assessing risk, and providing insights for process improvements. The role requires collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver excellent service and achieve business goals.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in financial audits, risk assessments, and audit planning
• Proficiency in accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial statements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and colleagues effectively
• Knowledge of employee benefit plans, mortgage industry, and nonprofit organization audits is a plus
• Proficiency with auditing and accounting software tools
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification required
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing deadlines efficiently
• Willingness to prepare engagements and data entry
