We are looking for an
AU Bookkeeper to support the client's finance team with bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and general bookkeeping tasks across multiple entities using MYOB and Xero.
This role requires someone who is detail oriented, proactive, and inquisitive, who is comfortable asking questions and identifying potential issues within financial data.

What are you expected to do
- Bank Reconciliations
- Perform regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations in MYOB and Xero
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in bank transactions
- Identify unusual or unmatched transactions and escalate when required
- Accounts Payable
- Process and record supplier invoices
- Match invoices to payments and ensure correct coding
- Maintain accurate supplier records
- Bookkeeping Support
- Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities
- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks
- Identify and flag potential issues or inconsistencies within financial records
- Assist with the preparation of BAS, PAYG Withholding and Payroll Tax for review by the
- finance team
- Support the finance team with compliance reporting preparation
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc bookkeeping tasks when required
You'll be a great fit if:
- You have 24 years bookkeeping experience
- You have experience working with Australian accounting or bookkeeping requirements
- You have experience using MYOB and/or Xero
- You have strong bank reconciliation experience
- You have experience processing accounts payable transactions
- You have strong attention to detail and accuracy
- You have good written and verbal communication skills
It would be advantageous and beneficial if:
- You have experience working with Australian businesses and accounting requirements
- You have experience preparing BAS, PAYG Withholding or Payroll Tax
- You have experience managing multiple entities or client files
- You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate discrepancies
- You are comfortable working remotely as part of a collaborative finance team

Please note: This role is remote; however, we require candidates to be based locally in the Philippines. This is to support occasional onsite activities such as team events, client meetings, or equipment handover. Additionally, local residency is necessary for compliance with Philippines labor laws and employment regulations.

What happens after you submit your application
The whole process takes around 3-4 weeks:
- There will be 2-3 interviews and a possible assessment from our client partner. You will undergo an initial interview, a culture interview, and 1-2 interviews with our cool client. This will run for about 3-4 weeks but we will let you know if we need to ramp it up. Be yourself and have fun.
- We will constantly communicate with you as to the development of your application. You can also directly communicate with us to ask us about the status of your application.
- If all goes well, we complete the reference check and provide other necessary requirements so we can offer you the job right away.
