- Support the SAVP for Corporate Affairs and Sustainability in developing communications and marketing campaigns that promote SM's Social Good initiatives, including SM Foundation, Henry Sy Foundation, Felicidad Sy Foundation, and other special projects / Social Good Business Units, across digital and traditional channels such as websites, print, television, and radio.
- Produce social good (event based, impact and evergreen) stories for special and strategic projects, ensuring alignment with approved narratives and objectives.
- Develop detailed media plans in line with approved buying parameters and guidelines, covering target audiences, communication objectives, buying strategies, timing and scheduling, geographic considerations, and budget.
- Support the development and execution of traditional content and strategies for SMFI's Social Good pillars to strengthen brand awareness and credibility across the following platforms: Television, Radio & Print.
- Implement and monitor offline and digital advertising /cause marketing campaigns, including television and radio. Prepare and rationalize post-buy reports based on execution versus approved media plans and communication objectives.
- Help build and maintain working relationships with social good program leads, media partners, and advertising platforms.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of traditional communications initiatives and provide analysis to support continuous content and strategy improvement.
- Manage and maintain communications trackers, including traditional content trackers, advertorial trackers, traditional media performance reports, and advertorial expenditure reports.
Skillset
- Strong communications background
- Experience in media relations and media buying
- Strong creative writing skills, with experience in sustainability, CSR communications, and cause marketing
- Basic project management capability
- Above-average presentation and oral communication skills
- Highly organized, articulate, and proficient in both English and Filipino
- Able to balance creativity with strategic thinking
- Collaborative team player
- Problem solver with the ability to execute innovative approaches relevant to the role
- Communicates clearly and effectively, both written and verbal, with supported business units
- Able to work independently and manage day-to-day responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Strong research, analytical, and investigative skills to support issue resolution and insight generation
Educational Background
Bachelor's degree in communications, Communication Arts, Development Communication, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field
Work Experience
At least five-years experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, CSR / Cause Marketing
