Your Role as an Associate

As a full-time Associate Lawyer, you are expected to report on-site at our law office in the Ortigas Central Business District, Pasig City from Monday to Friday. You will collaborate with partners, associates, and paralegal staff of the firm to provide legal services to our clients on a variety of legal matters within our practice areas. Your workload may include:

• Conducting legal research and prepare memoranda on a diverse array of legal questions and topics
• Drafting pleadings, motions, other court filings and legal instruments
• Reviewing and drafting commercial contracts and other agreements
• Conducting fact-finding investigations, due diligence, witness interviews, and other forms of fact discovery and legal review
• Participating in team-based or firm-wide workshops and conferences on complex legal issues and transactions;
• Participating in meetings, negotiations, and conferences with clients and third parties
• Liaising and coordinating with national government agencies and local government units
• Representing clients before judicial and administrative bodies

Minimum Qualifications

• Member in good standing of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines
• 0-2 years of experience in the practice of law (private or government setting)
• Exceptional law school accomplishments (including academic performance, student leadership, and/or extracurricular achievements, etc.)

• Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Ability to follow professional planning processes and time management policies
• Strong sense of professional responsibility and integrity

• Previous work experience in a professional setting is preferred but not required.
