Associate Lawyer

Gruba Guzman Law is seeking an Associate Lawyer to join its team. The candidate will engage in the following responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth legal research and provide well-reasoned analysis on complex legal issues;
• Prepare andreview legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and correspondence;
• Examine contracts and other legal instruments, identify risks, and recommend revisions or safeguards;
• Assist in case strategy development, including evidence gathering and case preparation for litigation;
• Perform legal due diligence for corporate transactions, agreements, and compliance matters;
• Engage with clients to assess concerns, explain legal options, and recommend appropriate courses of action;
• Represent clients in meetings, hearings, and other proceedings, as may be delegated by or in coordination with the Senior Partner;
• Act on behalf of and support the Senior Partner in handling cases, client management, and court appearances when required;
• Appear in hearings, assist in trial preparation, and support court proceedings as needed;
• Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case status and key developments;
• Provide practical legal advice and support across a range of matters; and
• Uphold strict confidentiality and ethical standards in all client engagements.
