Overseeing day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with Philippine reporting, tax laws, and internal control policies.
Supervise the preparation of financial statements, management reports, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
Support treasury functions including cash flow monitoring, funds management, and banking relationships.
Ensure proper administration and reconciliation of all accounts, including intercompany transactions, accounts receivable/payable, and balance sheet schedules.
Oversee tax management, VAT compliance, and statutory reporting, coordinating with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities.
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure operational efficiency.
Participate in strategic financial planning, cost control initiatives, and business improvement projects to support company objectives.
Assist in developing and updating finance policies and procedures in line with company standards and local regulations.
Handle ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and projects as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA Philippines).
Extra certifications like Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are an advantage.
68 years of finance or accounting experience, with at least 23 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
Good knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR rules, and financial reporting standards.
Preferred with at least 3 years of Audit experience.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Good communication and people skills with high integrity and professionalism.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP / Great Plains is preferred.
Able to work under pressure, make sound decisions, and meet deadlines.
