Job Description

The Finance and Accounting Assistant supports the finance team by helping with financial reporting, record-keeping, and accounting tasks. This role ensuresaccuratefinancial records and smooth operations for month-end and year-end processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assistin the preparation of financial statements,reportsand analyses.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintainaccuratefinancial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance and accounting team.
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks asrequired.
  • Such othertasks asmay bereasonably connectedto finance and accounting requirements andneedsof the company.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:Bachelor's degree inAccounting, Financial Management, ora relatedfieldfrom a reputable university.
  • Experience:3-5 years of experience as finance assistant manager role or supervisory. Experience with basic accounting functions, such as accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting is preferred.
  • Skills:Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles andprocedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizationalskills.
  • Good communicationskills, both written and verbal.

Working Schedule and Working Condition:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at BGC Taguig
