Job Description
The Finance and Accounting Assistant supports the finance team by helping with financial reporting, record-keeping, and accounting tasks. This role ensuresaccuratefinancial records and smooth operations for month-end and year-end processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assistin the preparation of financial statements,reportsand analyses.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintainaccuratefinancial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Provide administrative support to the finance and accounting team.
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks asrequired.
- Such othertasks asmay bereasonably connectedto finance and accounting requirements andneedsof the company.
Required Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelor's degree inAccounting, Financial Management, ora relatedfieldfrom a reputable university.
- Experience:3-5 years of experience as finance assistant manager role or supervisory. Experience with basic accounting functions, such as accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting is preferred.
- Skills:Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles andprocedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizationalskills.
- Good communicationskills, both written and verbal.
Working Schedule and Working Condition:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at BGC Taguig
