Job Description

Whitestone is seeking an ambitious and certified Finance Assistant Manager to support the Finance Head and lead our accounting operations. This pivotal management role focuses on comprehensive financial reporting, compliance oversight, and enhancing team productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Compliance & Audit: Oversee and enforce basic finance compliance and conduct internal QuickBooks audits.
  • Payroll & Tax: Manage and check payroll processing and ensure all tax compliance and filings are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Bookkeeping: Maintain full-cycle, accurate bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance.
  • Supervision: Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance to the accounting team.

Requirements

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience at a Supervisory level in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong, hands-on experience in Financial Reporting.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks for audit, bookkeeping, and general ledger management.
  • Expertise in basic finance compliance, checking payroll, and managing tax requirements.
