The Area Manager (South Luzon) is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating area-wide plans to drive sales, profitability, service quality, and people performance in alignment with district strategies. This role ensures consistent execution of operational programs, provides coaching to restaurant leadership teams, and addresses area-wide challenges. It also serves as a consultant to support both company-managed and partner-operated stores within the assigned area.
Strategy Deployment & Monitoring
- Deploys operational plans aligned with district strategies and communicates these effectively to restaurant managers
- Conducts regular coaching sessions to ensure proper execution of operational and business plans
- Coordinates with support functions to address operational needs of the area and individual stores
- Monitors performance across key results areas and ensures timely follow-through on action plans
- Reviews and approves store-level business action plans developed by management teams
- Acts as a consultant to franchise or partner store leaders, providing guidance on operations and performance improvement
Sales Management
- Designs and implements sales-building initiatives across the retail trade area, covering various channels and product offerings
- Oversees execution of marketing and promotional initiatives within the area
- Monitors sales performance of stores for both new and existing products and provides support to achieve targets
- Consolidates and analyzes sales data to identify trends and opportunities; coaches store leaders on achieving sales goals
- Monitors competitive activity and recommends strategies to strengthen market position and drive growth
Profit Management
- Conducts store audits to ensure compliance with cost management standards and achievement of financial targets
- Provides guidance to restaurant managers in addressing cost-related gaps and improving profitability
- Identifies and shares best practices in cost control and profit optimization for broader implementation across the area
People Management
- Develops succession plans for restaurant management teams to ensure continuity and leadership readiness
- Conducts regular performance evaluations for direct reports
- Creates and monitors development plans based on individual performance and competency assessments
- Identifies high-potential team members and supports their career development
- Implements employee engagement initiatives and develops action plans to address engagement concerns
- Oversees employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes and resolution at the area level
Operations, Service, and Customer Experience
- Conducts audits to ensure compliance with food safety, cleanliness, and service standards
- Collaborates with restaurant managers to address gaps identified during audits and improve overall performance
- Provides recommendations to enhance processes and customer experience at the store level
- Reviews and approves requests for equipment replacement as needed
- Identifies best practices in operations and evaluates opportunities for adoption across the area
- Drives achievement of customer satisfaction targets and supports resolution of escalated customer concerns
- Analyzes customer feedback across the area and develops action plans to address recurring issues
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or any business-related course
- At least six (6) years of experience in store operations management within the fast food or quick service restaurant industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge in store operations, franchise or partner relations, and business development
- Willing to travel extensively for fieldwork across South Luzon (e.g., Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Quezon, and nearby areas)
