What are we looking for
We're looking for a reliable Accounts Payable Officer to help us control and monitor our expenses. Ideally, this person should be a fast learner for processes and have a great eye for detail as working timely and accurately is key for this role. You should be a team player to be successful in a collaborative environment.
What are you expected to do
- Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial data
- Receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
- Comparing system reports to balances and verifying entries
- Charging expenses to accounts and cost center
- Verifying vendor accounts, paying vendors, and resolving purchase order, invoice, or payment discrepancies

You'll be a great fit if:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or any related field
- You have at least 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable
- You have experience coaching, training, or providing guidance to junior colleagues.
- You have accounting background and understanding of general ledger concepts
- You have knowledge basic accounting principles
- You are amenable to work onsite (Davao)
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel
- You have strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy
- You have strong problem-solving skills and work ethics
- You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- You have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
We will be absolutely thrilled if you also have the following:
- Have experience in Australian accounting processes
- Are familiar with accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Navision

What happens after you submit your application
The whole process takes around 4 weeks:
- There will be 3-4 interviews and a possible assessment from our client partner. You will undergo an initial interview, a culture interview, and 1-2 interviews with our cool client. This will run for about 1-2 weeks but we will let you know if we need to ramp it up. Be yourself and have fun.
- We will constantly communicate with you as to the development of your application. You can also directly communicate with us to ask us about the status of your application.
- If all goes well, we complete the reference check and provide other necessary requirements so we can offer you the job right away.
