- Handles and reviews general accounting functions, such as but not limited to the following:
- Bank reconciliation
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payables
- Inventory costing and Reconciliation
- Fixed Assets
- Bank loans
- Payroll & govt. remittances
- Related party transaction
- Checks transactions and its supporting documents for mathematical accuracy, validity, reasonableness and completeness
- Revolving Fund replenishment
- Cash advance liquidation
- Reimbursements
- Purchase requisitions/Purchase Order
- Prepares and records month-end closing entries for
- accrual
- Prepayments
- Depreciation and amortization
- Adjustment and reclassification
- correcting entries
- Review and reconciles subsidiary ledger and General Ledger monthly to ensure accuracy of posting.
- Validates Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss account and prepares fluctuation or ratio analysis.
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of reports/requirements submitted.
- Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records
- Ensures systematic filing of documents
- Reviews and recommends modifications to improve departmental policies, procedures and processes

Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy.
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Finance - Audit/Taxation or equivalent.
- Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Familiarity with accounting software packages
- Computer literacy (MS Excel in particular)
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- Keen attention to detail
