WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a seasoned, delivery-focused Martech and Analytics Director to join our APAC operations. You will be joining a truly regional team, delivering projects across APAC. You will be responsible for bridge-building between business needs and technical execution, managing stakeholders (data team and rest of the agency), and ensuring the project deliveries are of quality and on time. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneur mindset as he/she is expected to manage projects and a team, is curious and have an eagerness to learn. The candidate should be able to navigate and adapt to a multi-cultural work environment.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING ON ANY GIVEN DAY
1. Project Leadership & Global Governance
• End-to-End Stewardship: Lead the lifecycle of large-scale Martech projects across APAC, from requirement gathering to final delivery.
• Complex Account Management: Govern the analytics architecture for global accounts with multi-market, complex structures, ensuring consistency across the region.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team across the region, providing technical guidance, conducting code/logic reviews, and ensuring professional growth.
• Pitching: Own the analytics offering and participate in the pitching process with the ability to tailor offerings and commercials for clients
2. Advanced Solution Architecting
• Next-Gen Tracking: Lead product innovation around advanced tracking solutions, including Server-Side Google Tag Manager (sGTM) and Cloud-based data collection.
• 1st Party Data & CDP: Lead Audience Activation strategies and solutions by integrating Customer Data Platforms (CDP), CRM data, and 1st party data into the media ecosystem.
• Measurement Frameworks: Build robust measurement schemas that account for global privacy regulations (GDPR, etc.) and technical limitations like ITP.
3. Martech Innovation & Media Integration
• Product Evolution: Research and develop new offerings around Google Merchant Center (GMC), MMPs (Appsflyer/Adjust), and server-to-server integrations.
• Technical Translation: Act as the primary translator between agency account teams and data engineers—turning business KPIs into technical schemas.
• Feed & Asset Governance: Oversee the health of product feeds and data pipelines to ensure media performance (PPC, Programmatic, Paid Social) is optimized.
4. Operational Excellence
• Process Optimization: Review and refine the existing process to ensure scalability of the team and the skills
REQUIREMENTS
• 10+ years in Web Analytics or Martech, with at least 5 years in a team lead or management capacity.
• Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Expert knowledge with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics is mandatory.
• Deep understanding of tracking techniques such as server side tracking, MMP, and global privacy regulations is important.
• Deep understanding of media industry solutions, such as PPC, Display, Programmatic, Paid Social etc
• Proficiency with Martech knowledge is a plus – understanding of 1 party data usage, AB testing, audience activation etc
• Experience with product feed in digital market is a plus, especially with Google Merchant Center
• Proficient technically with understanding of SQL, BigQuery/AWS, Tableau/ PowerBI/ Looker and agile/scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Strong sense of responsibility & highly disciplined.
• Strategic thinker who can troubleshoot complex technical hurdles independently.
• Proactive communicator and self-starter.
• Fluent English communication, verbal and written. A second Asian language is a plus.
