About the role
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our dynamic team at INFOSYS BPM Philippine Branch based in Alabang Muntinlupa City Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely cash collection and maintaining accurate financial records.
What you'll be doing
- Efficiently process and post customer payments, ensuring accurate and timely recording in the accounting system
- Conduct regular reviews of accounts receivable, identify discrepancies and work with customers to resolve outstanding balances
- Prepare and send out customer invoices, statements and other relevant financial documents
- Liaise with customers to address inquiries, follow up on late payments and negotiate payment arrangements as needed
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation related to accounts receivable activities
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and provide analysis on accounts receivable trends
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or any related course.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit control, preferably within the Accounting/Finance industry
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable management processes and best practices
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel/SAP)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
- Attention to detail and a proven track record of maintaining accurate financial records
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
- Experience in AR Collections - both calls and account reconciliation and payment allocation
