Protecting the financial integrity and facilitating smooth financial operations of the organization, you will play a pivotal role by maintaining high ethical standards and ensuring all financial reporting obligations are met. You'll own the daily workflow involving bookkeeping responsibilities, such as payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliation, integrating seamlessly with the leadership team. Working remotely, you will manage cashflow forecasts and financial reporting, coordinating with internal stakeholders to align with strategic directions.

In this collaborative structure, you will liaise closely with General Management, Project Managers, and Office Management to ensure that all customer invoicing and financial governance are up to standard. This position is integrated into a daytime work schedule, allowing for interaction across various teams during standard business hours.

You're Likely a Strong Fit If You Have:

• Proven experience with financial management and tools like Xero and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to manage payroll, superannuation contributions, and financial reporting.
• Extensive experience in accounts administration, including cashflow management and reconciliations.

Finance and Administration

Supporting the financial functions efficiently:

• Prepare weekly cashflow forecasts.
• Manage payroll and handle associated obligations.
• Execute accounts payable and receivable efficiently.

Governance, Compliance, and Auditing

Ensuring failsafe compliance:

• Maintain accurate financial and legal records.
• Ensure all compliance requirements meet time frames.

Reporting

Deliver vital financial insights:

• Present cashflow forecasts and KPI dashboards weekly.
• Complete Profit and Loss and Balance Sheets by the 7th of each month.

Continuous Improvement

Proactively improving financial operations:

• Identify standardization opportunities for organizational systems.
• Document and implement continuous quality improvements.
