Role Description The Accounting Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Makati, responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial records. This role includes supervising accounting staff, reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining general ledger integrity. The Accounting Supervisor prepares and reviews financial reports, supports budgeting and forecasting, and monitors compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners (such as auditors and banks), improving accounting processes, and providing management with clear financial insights for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Finance and Financial Reporting, with the ability to interpret and present financial data clearly.
- Proficiency in Financial Statements, including preparation, review, and analysis of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in financial performance.
- Hands-on experience with Accounting Software and related tools used for general ledger, invoicing, and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or senior accounting role, preferably in manufacturing, furniture, or related industries.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
- At least with 2 years experience in Supervisory Role.
