Cost Accounting Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of product costs, production costs, and inventory costs.
• Monitor and update costing records for raw materials, packaging materials, labor, and overhead.
• Assist in conducting inventory reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Prepare cost reports, schedules, and supporting documents for management review.
• Monitor production yields, material usage, and manufacturing variances.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly cost of goods sold (COGS) and inventory reports.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, and Finance for accurate cost information.
• Assist in maintaining accurate costing databases and accounting records.
• Support physical inventory counts and reconciliation activities.
• Perform other accounting and costing-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years experience preferably in cost accounting, inventory accounting, or general accounting.
• Licensed Certified Public Accountant is an advantage
• Experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of inventory management, product costing, and basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of accounting systems or ERP software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
