Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor with a strong background in financial management, government compliance, and HR-related regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has proven experience in supervising accounting operations, ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations, and demonstrating strong leadership in managing and developing a team. Candidates from reputable firms with structured financial practices are highly preferred.
Work Arrangement- Full on-site role
- 6 days a week (including Saturdays)

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Management
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports
- Review and approve journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Support internal and external audits and ensure readiness of financial records
Government & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with all government regulatory requirements (e.g., tax filings, statutory reports, and remittances)
- Prepare and review submissions to relevant government agencies
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed
HR Compliance & Payroll Support
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance with labor laws
- Ensure proper handling of employee compensation, benefits, and statutory contributions
- Maintain compliance with HR-related government requirements and reporting
- Collaborate with HR in implementing policies related to compensation and benefits
Supervision & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to achieve high performance
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure accountability within the team
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and guidance
- Foster a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Inventory Oversight
- Oversee and assist in monitoring company supplies and slab inventory
- Ensure accurate recording, tracking, and reconciliation of inventory movements
- Coordinate with operations and warehouse teams to maintain inventory accuracy
- Implement controls and processes to prevent discrepancies and losses
Process Improvement
- Establish and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial and compliance records
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred
- 46 years of relevant accounting experience, with supervisory or team lead exposure
- Proven experience handling government compliance and regulatory reporting
- Experience in HR/payroll compliance is required
- Background from a reputable firm or well-established organization is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and labor laws
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, or similar systems)
- Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
Preferred Attributes- Experience in audit or tax from a recognized firm
- Experience handling inventory accounting is an advantage
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
