Your Role:As an Accounting Supervisor, You will oversee accounting functions to ensure efficiency and compliance. This includes supervising and mentoring employees, maintaining financial records, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with audits. Review the daily financial processing and carry out month-end and year-end closing activities. Review and recommend accounting policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with the company targets.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities - Secure financial operations by monitoring and reviewing the daily transactions processing, including general ledger, and account reconciliations.
- Assist in hiring Finance members, provide guidance, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Review and recommend accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Meet accounting financial standards by monitoring expenditures, performing ledger account reconciliations, and maintaining the assignment attributes of the Chart of Accounts.
- Reconcile and prepare management invoices to subsidiaries, including transfer pricing.
- Complete the month-end and year-end closing entries and processes.
- Provides ISO and External audit requirements and attends to auditoru0027s queries
- Prepares comparative/movement analysis for monthly and annual P&L
- Manages companyu0027s Financial Statement including the consolidated financial report.
- Support the Government compliance manager for the government compliance requirements
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and answer various queries from different departments
- Contribute to the accounting and organizational missions by preparing management reports.
- Ensure a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace for all employees and contractors, report workplace hazards, and provide a safe and positive workplace.
- Complete all necessary training requirements and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, and related field featuring extensive accounting coursework
- At least two (2) years experience in Financial Statement preparation and audit procedure
- Relevant experience in corporate accounting or auditing
- CPA, Accounting certification is a plus.
- Broad exposure to accounting software A
- Adept with Microsoft Office and relevant applications
