Accounting Supervisor

Job Purpose: Oversees General Accounting operations within the Finance and Accounting Department in the Laguna plant, ensuring all transactions are accurately and timely recorded, reviewed, approved and translated into Accounting records for the preparation of financial statements and other reportorial requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform daily supervision of General Accounting activities, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Costing and Inventory;

2. Oversee monthly Inventory Audit activities, ensuring integrity in the records of movement of goods in and out of the plant warehouses;

3. Examine / Audit transactions and records to confirm accuracy and integrity, and review and recommend controls to ensure reliability and data integrity;

4. Ensure company policy and procedures in connection with Finance and Accounting are adhered to consistently within the department and related stakeholders;

5. Continually develop process and systems improvement to enhance controls and maximize efficiency;

6. Liaise with various department heads relative to financial data or information or operational finance reporting;

7. Oversee and ensure accurate and timely compliance with tax and other reportorial requirements of BIR, SEC, PEZA, and local government units and other concerned regulatory agencies;

8. Help in ensuring that the Finance and Accounting department meets its goals and targets; and

9. Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the top management from time to time.
