Accounting Manager

The Opportunity

This is not a routine accounting leadership role. As Department Head – Accounting, you will lead the organization's financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and disbursement functions—ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of financial information for executive and external stakeholders.

You will oversee end-to-end accounting operations, lead audit engagements, and drive continuous improvements across financial systems and processes. From financial statement consolidation to tax compliance and internal controls, you will play a critical role in safeguarding financial transparency and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

This role is for a leader who thrives in detail, governance, and high-accountability environments.

What You'll Actually Do

Lead Accounting Operations

• Oversee General Accounting, Disbursement, Financial Reporting, and Tax functions.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely processing of all financial transactions and disbursements.

Drive Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Review audited financial statements and endorse for submission to regulatory bodies such as SEC and BIR.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory standards, and reporting requirements.
• Oversee consolidation of financial statements across entities and subsidiaries.

Own Audit & Governance Processes

• Lead the external audit process, ensuring readiness of financial data and addressing audit findings.
• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory agencies for audit, compliance, and due diligence activities.

Strengthen Systems & Internal Controls

• Enhance accounting systems, processes, and internal controls to improve efficiency and data integrity.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement in financial operations.

Manage Disbursement & Financial Controls

• Oversee accounts payable, vendor and employee payments, and expense approvals.
• Ensure proper authorization, documentation, and compliance with policies.

Lead Budgeting & Financial Planning Support

• Lead departmental budget preparation and monitor utilization.
• Analyze variances and provide corrective recommendations to management.

Develop and Lead the Team

• Manage, coach, and evaluate Accounting team members.
• Drive capability building, performance management, and continuous professional development.

Who You Are

• A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
• A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed by the PRC.
• Preferably with a Master's degree in Business Administration (Accounting).
• Has at least 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experienced in accounting systems, financial reporting, and audit processes.
• Strong in compliance, controls, and financial governance.
• A structured, detail-oriented leader with strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
