The Accounting Manager performs the ff. functions:
- Provide support overseeing the company's general accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accurate financial statements, strong internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Provide support in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close
- Provide support in preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable standards (PFRS)
- Prepare management reports
- Manage the general ledger and review journal entries and account reconciliations
- Oversee balance sheet integrity, including accruals, provisions, prepayments, and fixed assets
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, including coordination of tax matters
- Support internal and external audits
- Provide accounting support for budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
- Supervise and develop general accounting staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
- CPA required
- 3-5+ years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and closing processes
- Leadership and analytical skills
