Roles And Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain predictive models and machine‑learning solutions supporting business use cases.
- Build, evaluate, and optimize forecasting models, including time series models and machine‑learning‑based predictors.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Work within the Databricks environment to build scalable data pipelines and automated workflows as data engineer leveraging Python language
- Ensure proper governance, reliability, and documentation of analytical models and code.
- Deploy models and applications within Azure-based infrastructure.
Education And Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Typically, 7-10 years of relevant work experience in industry.
- A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
- knowledge of basic statistical concepts such as correlation, confidence interval, etc.,
- familiarity with data science libraries in Python — SciPy, scikit-learn,
- understanding of linear regression (Ordinary Least Squares, ElasticNet, Ridge Regression) and forecasting methods using machine learning,
- knowledge of SQL,
- knowledge of time series forecasting methods.
Other Qualifications/Skillsets
- familiarity with the Databricks environment (workflows, jobs),
- familiarity with the Azure environment (Azure Key Vault, Function Apps, Storage Accounts),
- knowledge of PySpark,
- ability to write object-oriented code.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
