Job Description

The Accounting Manager performs the ff. functions:

  • Provide support overseeing the company's general accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accurate financial statements, strong internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Provide support in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close
  • Provide support in preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable standards (PFRS)
  • Prepare management reports
  • Manage the general ledger and review journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Oversee balance sheet integrity, including accruals, provisions, prepayments, and fixed assets
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, including coordination of tax matters
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Provide accounting support for budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
  • Supervise and develop general accounting staff

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
  • CPA required
  • 3-5+ years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and closing processes
  • Leadership and analytical skills
