Assists the VP - Finance & Administration in carrying out the accounting activities of the company that includes cost and general accounting, reports generations, taxation and accounts reconciliation.

  • Hiring, training, and motivating accounting personnel while supervising and delegating department tasks.
  • Evaluating, developing, and improving department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all significant projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Ensuring that all accounting processes aligns with GAAP and current financial legislation.
  • Analyzing financial data and creating reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties, such as vendors or lenders.
  • As needed, maintaining accurate and complete financial records and participating in audits or reconciliations.
  • Assisting other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business.

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant
  • Have at least 10 years of solid work experience in various areas of accounting
  • At least 5 years work experience in managerial capacity
  • Preferably with experience in credit & collection, treasury and admin functions
  • Should be well-versed in the latest PFRS (Philippine Financial Reporting Standard) and updated in BIR regulations
  • Must have working knowledge of accounting software
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Willing to work in Marikina City
