Job Overview
Key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the organization's day-to-day accounting operations. This position is responsible for documenting financial transactions, assisting in the preparation of financial reports, and ensuring that company finances are properly recorded and monitored. The role also supports activities such as managing receivables and payables, assisting with payroll processing, reconciling accounts, and organizing financial documentation to maintain transparency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients and monitor collections to ensure timely payment.
- Record and track bills received from vendors and service providers and coordinate payment schedules.
- Assist in payroll preparation by calculating salaries, taxes, and other mandatory deductions while ensuring employees are compensated accurately and on time.
- Maintain awareness of current payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts, and address discrepancies when identified.
- Accurately record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, including expense summaries, reconciliation reports, and financial statements.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for reference and audit purposes.
- Provide additional financial reports or administrative support as requested by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related course.
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in accounting support, or a similar role.
