Your Role:

As an Accounting / Finance Associate, you will:

The Accounting / Finance Associate provides essential support to the finance and accounting operations. You help maintain accurate financial records, assist in closing processes, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the general ledger.
  • Record journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts (e.g., bank, prepaid, payables, receivables).
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly).
  • Help prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in cash management tasks.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners (e.g., auditors) on financial matters.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
  • Assist with audit preparation (retrieve documents, prepare working papers).
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to strengthen internal controls.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 13 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Good understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or applicable standard)
