The Accounting Associate / Senior Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely execution of finance operational activities across Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and related reporting functions. The role ensures compliance with company policies, internal controls, and established reporting timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Perform customer billing, receipt application, and collection activities in an accurate and timely manner
- Monitor and support timely collection of customer payments
- Prepare and submit monthly sales and AR-related reports within agreed timelines
- Conduct cash and collection-related analyses, including regular review of AR aging
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Process vendor invoices and payments accurately and within agreed timelines
- Reconcile vendor Statements of Account (SOA) and investigate discrepancies
- Monitor GRNI aging and ensure timely resolution of outstanding balances
- Perform system reconciliations and maintain complete and accurate documentation
Finance Operations (Senior-Level Scope)
- Review AR and AP reconciliations and exception items
- Oversee daily operational reconciliations and follow up on reconciling items
- Support month-end and non-month-end close activities
- Review financial and operational reports prior to submission
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and escalation of operational issues as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA license required
- 13 years of relevant experience for Associate roles
- 35 years of relevant experience for Senior Associate roles
- Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP accounting systems
