Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Cebu. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial activities, including recording transactions, preparing and reviewing journal entries, and maintaining accurate general ledger accounts. The role will include preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting, monitoring cash flow, and reconciling bank and account balances. The Accountant will manage accounts payable and receivable, verify invoices, process payments, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, supporting internal and external audits, and providing financial reports and analysis to management for decision-making.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a high level of integrity.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA) is an advantage.
• Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is beneficial but not required.
