Inventory and Fixed Asset Accountant

We are looking for a detailed-oriented Inventory and Fixed Asset Accountant to join our Accounting team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in protecting company assets through precise fixed asset management, inventory tracking, cost valuation, and audit compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Fixed Asset Management: Track purchases, transfers, and disposals; calculate depreciation and prepare monthly lapsing schedules.
• Inventory Tracking & Valuation: Monitor inventory transactions, perform cost of sales calculations, and handle month-end and year-end reconciliations.
• Audit & Compliance: Provide documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring company-wide compliance with accounting policies.
• Process Improvement: Partner with warehouse, sales, and IT teams to optimize accounting software workflows and inventory accuracy.
  
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven background as an Inventory/Fixed Asset Accountant or similar role.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of standard valuation methods (FIFO, Weighted Average) and tax depreciation rules.
• Software: Hands-on experience with accounting software, ERPs, and MS Excel.
• Attributes: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and comfortable meeting strict deadlines.
