AU Tax Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end accounting tasks with guidance and support.
• Prepare simple individual and business tax returns and BAS.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation of basic financial statements and reports.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
• Provide limited client support and communication as required.
• Work closely with senior accountants and follow Australian accounting practices and procedures.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.
• Experience with end-to-end accounting processes.
• Basic knowledge of Australian tax returns and BAS.
• Good understanding of reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Willingness to learn and work under guidance.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
