Account Manager Client Operations
About This Role
We're looking for an Account Manager who ensures client accounts move through our system on time, in order, and without confusion. You'll own the process, enforce the system, and solve problems independently before escalating.
This is an operational role, not a strategy role. You won't be deciding what content to create or advising clients on their marketing. However, you do need enough social media and marketing experience to spot quality issues, recognize when something's off, and coordinate confidently with creative teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Monitor all client accounts daily to identify and resolve blocks, delays, or stalled tasks
- Maintain clear, updated status communication for each client (current phase, dependencies, next steps, timeline)
- Coordinate work across Content Specialists, Design, and QA teams
- Proactively follow up with clients and team members to prevent delays
- Enforce approval gates and process requirements before work advances
- Apply sound judgment to handle ambiguous situations independently
What Success Looks Like
- Clients always know their status and next steps without needing to ask
- Delays are identified and addressed before they become issues
- Leadership and Client Success are rarely pulled into operational questions
- Timelines and KPIs are consistently met
- Team members have clear expectations and deadlines
Required Experience & Skills
- Previous experience as an Account Manager or Project Manager at a marketing agency, creative agency, or similar environment
- Working knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube) - you should be able to evaluate content quality, recognize platform best practices, and identify when something is off-brand or underperforming
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously without dropping details
- Strong written and verbal English communication
- Experience with project management tools (we use ClickUp) and collaboration platforms (Slack, Zoom)
- Track record of meeting deadlines and maintaining process adherence in fast-paced environment

Compensation & Work Arrangement
Salary: $1,800 USD per month
