Position: Account Director Government (Energy Sector)

About the Role

Our client, a leading creative advertising agency in Dubai, is seeking an experienced Account Director to manage a major UAE Government account within the energy sector.

This role requires a strong strategic mindset, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and proven experience handling government accounts in the UAE. The successful candidate will be seconded to the client's office and will act as the senior point of contact, leading integrated marketing and communication initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and oversee the full account portfolio and team structure

* Act as the senior client contact for strategic discussions, presentations, and approvals

* Develop annual communication strategies and integrated campaign roadmaps

* Ensure alignment between client objectives and agency execution

* Guide cross-functional teams across creative, digital, production, and media

* Maintain high-quality standards across all deliverables

* Manage timelines, budgets, and performance expectations

Required Qualifications & Experience

* Minimum 8+ years of agency experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role

* Mandatory experience managing UAE Government accounts

* Strong background in strategic planning and integrated campaigns

* Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills

* Ability to work on-site at the government client office

* Fluent in English and Arabic
