Job Description & Summary

This role will help provide and oversee an effective, efficient, and secure technology services and solutions that will enable PwC AC Manila to deliver the business requirements. Moreso, will act as the primary point of contact for timely and consistent response on computing and technology related inquiries lead the review and monitoring of technical errors that occur and mitigate the recurrence of similar issues and incidents and maximise the reliability and promote the efficiency of Centre-wide IT services.

  • Responsible for managing the Information Technology teams.

  • Champion adherence to ITIL standard and best practices.

  • Responsible for implementing IT infrastructure projects, local and global initiatives.

  • Responsible for estimating, planning and delivering Cloud services (SaaS & PaaS) in support of project initiatives.

  • Responsible for securing the IT infrastructure environment and data.

  • Ensure IT compliance to applicable policies and regulations.

  • Manage network servers and technology tools (server, network, voice, and cloud systems)

  • Monitor performance and maintenance of systems in accordance with business requirements

  • Lead troubleshooting effort for complex issues and outages.

  • Oversee the routine proactive network and server maintenance activities including firmware upgrades, patching, etc.

  • Identify complex technical environment issues and implement permanent resolutions to mitigate problems

  • Lead daily operations and monitoring of multiple databases, user accounts, file permissions, and other systems according to standard operating procedures

  • Participate in required compliance activities as needed, including data log collection, statistical analysis and proper reporting standards

  • Provide support for telephony system and devices running over communication networks such as VOIP

  • Monitor and maintain our ticketing system/queue responding within service level agreements

  • Assess and lead digital transformation opportunities from inception, planning, execution, and adoption.

  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology Engineering, Operations other Computer or technical related disciplines

  • At least (8) years experience in related field with at least (5) year experience as Manager level in an IT function including but not limited to Network, Cloud, Telephony, Service Management, Project Management or Agile framework.

  • Must have applicable experience in IT due diligence, IT and business process integration and separation planning and implementation, operational and performance improvement, strategic growth, or other relevant operational experience--experience in Internal Audit - IT, Risk Assurance - IT may be considered too

  • Strong communication skills in English (day to-day work would be in English)

  • Experience in Information Security and Compliance

Strong knowledge of:

  • Network Support forSDWAN, LAN, WAN, GWAN, VoIP

  • Network design and implementation

  • Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto products

  • Project Management

  • Scrum and Agile Methodologies and Release Process

  • ITIL Framework and Service Management

  • IT Infrastructure setup for new office build-out.

  • ISO Information Security Compliance

  • End-user Services (M365, laptop, mobile, and VDI)

  • IT Service Management

  • Project Management

  • Agile Framework

  • Scrum Methodologies

  • IT Security (Patching, Vulnerability Management)

  • Global BPO Experience

  • IT Infrastructure setup for new office build-out

Education

Degrees/Field of Study required:
