Reporting to: IT Director
The
IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for leading and managing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects within the organization. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring the successful implementation of IT infrastructure solutions.
Other requirements include the following:
- Develops comprehensive project plans outlining scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
- Identifies and allocates resources needed for project execution, including team members, equipment, and external vendors.
- Identifies project risks and develops mitigation strategies.
- Facilitates effective communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, issues, and milestones.
- Establishes and implements quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
- Oversees the implementation of IT infrastructure solutions, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud-based systems.
To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any other related course
- At least 7 years related work experience
- Proficiency in infrastructure design, cloud computing, virtualization, and network technologies.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and compliance standards.
- Effective collaboration and communication with leadership team and cross functional teams to understand infrastructure requirements to support projects and operations.
- Project management experience and relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are advantageous
