The Workforce Manager plays a crucial role in managing staffing levels and optimizing workforce productivity within the healthcare organization. They oversee the recruitment, scheduling, and performance management of staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with department heads to determine staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies. Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
- Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and departments. Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in patient volume or staff availability.
- Monitor employee performance and productivity levels. Provide coaching and support to staff members to help them meet performance targets and achieve professional growth.
- Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of staff members. Coordinate with the training department to facilitate ongoing learning and development opportunities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in workforce management or staffing within the healthcare industry, with at least 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, including patient flow, staffing requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in workforce management software and scheduling systems.
- Experience with healthcare-specific software such as electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
