Job Description

Summary

The Workforce Planning Coordinator is responsible for maintaining roster databases and ensuring timely distribution to relevant staff. This role is part of a strategic team responsible for roster structure and planning processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensuring that the allocation of resources is undertaken independently, without prejudice, and in-line with the planned business needs, the dynamic real-time operational demands, and the unscheduled customer requirements

Intergrate rosters across multiple systems

Update and maintain roster databases

Actively review roster plans and make recommendations on improved optimistaion

Assist in Pre-plan deployment and decide on overtime necessary to meet service standards as required

Keep up-do-date with all the existing and new functionalities of the systems relevant to the allocation function

Work as part of a team of Workforce Planning ensuring smooth handover to and from and covering for other departments or areas as required

Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedures

Perform any other duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head

Requirements

12 years schooling or equivalent

Must have excellent analytical skills and planning skills for Rostering, Over Time Planning and Leave administration

Previous experience of and proficiency in using existing decision support systems in use for Resource Planning and Allocation is desirable distinct advantage
