About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Workday Financials Expert to serve as the key liaison between our global Accounting organization and Technology team. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, optimization, and support of Workday Financials while driving accounting process transformation and enterprise-wide system improvements.

You will partner with Accounting, FP&A, Technology, and business stakeholders to ensure our financial systems effectively support operational and strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Workday Financials Strategy & Optimization
• Lead configuration, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Workday Financials.
• Design scalable solutions aligned with business and accounting requirements.
• Ensure seamless integration between Workday and enterprise applications.
• Evaluate new Workday capabilities and recommend improvements.
• Accounting Process Transformation
• Act as the primary bridge between Accounting and Technology teams.
• Analyze workflows to identify automation and efficiency opportunities.
• Translate accounting requirements into technical, scalable system solutions.
• User Enablement & Governance
• Provide subject matter expertise and training on Workday Financials.
• Support governance, controls, and financial reporting initiatives.
• Present project updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of combined experience in accounting and enterprise financial systems.
• Strong understanding of GL, P2P, R2R, Fixed Assets, Banking & Settlement, and Financial Reporting.
• Experience leading ERP Financials implementations or major enhancements.
• Proven ability to work with global, cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred

• Hands-on Workday Financials experience.
• CPA or equivalent certification.
• Experience with multinational organizations and enterprise system integrations.
