Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements
- Ensure high-performance and availability of websites while managing all technical aspects of the CMS
- Collaborate with designers to translate mockups and wireframes into responsive web designs
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and search engine optimization (SEO)
- Implement and manage website security protocols, backups, and recovery processes
- Diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues, bugs, and conflicts in existing websites
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and WordPress updates
Requirements
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role (2+ years preferred)
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with creating custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Familiarity with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and ensuring compliance on WordPress sites
- Understanding of website performance optimization techniques
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience in iGaming, sports betting, casino, or related industries is a plus
