We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced contractor to join our Packaging team. You will be responsible for delivering end-to-end software packaging services in support of our enterprise Windows environment. Working within a collaborative IT Service Delivery team, you will contribute to secure, stable, and efficient endpoint deployments using SCCM and related tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Package, test, and deploy software applications for enterprise environments using SCCM/Intune.
- Troubleshoot packaging and deployment issues and provide L3 support as needed.
- Update and maintain the product catalog and deployment documentation.
- Conduct compatibility assessments and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Collaborate with coordinators to manage workload and timelines through Jira.
- Ensure quality assurance (QA) standards are met for every package.
- Apply security standards and follow change management protocols via ServiceNow.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in application packaging in enterprise environments for Windows.
- Proficient with Microsoft SCCM/Intune, Microsoft Installer (MSI), Flexera AdminStudio or similar, PowerShell scripting, VMWare, HyperV, and Windows OS.
- Demonstrated knowledge of UAT and QA practices.
- Experience with Jira and ServiceNow or similar tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to adapt and work effectively within a large enterprise environment that involves multiples processes and structured procedures.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Able to work in Eastern Standard time hours
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Patch My PC or automated software catalog tools.
- Experience working within Agile or Kanban teams.
- Packaging experience in Mac OS
