Drives the development and continuous improvement of the organization's web platforms, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience through innovative solutions and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Defines project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders
- Creates a detailed project plan, including tasks, resources, and dependencies
- Monitors project progress against the schedule, identifying and addressing delays, and managing the project budget to ensure it stays within allocated limits
- Identifies potential risks and issues that could impact the project, developing mitigation strategies, and proactively resolving problems as they arise
- Maintains clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders (clients, development team, designers, etc.), managing expectations, and providing regular project updates
- Manages relationships with external vendors or service providers involved in the project
- Maintains comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, meeting minutes, and change requests
- Ensures that the deliverables meet the required quality standards and facilitating testing processes.
- Formalizes project completion, conducting post-project reviews, and ensures all deliverables are finalized and approved
- Gathers, analyzes, and documents business requirements from stakeholders through various techniques (interviews, workshops, surveys, etc.)
- Communicates and validates clearly the gathered requirements with stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding. Managing changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Defines both what the web platform should do (functional) and how it should perform (non-functional, e.g., performance, security, usability)
- Evaluates potential solutions to business problems and recommending the most appropriate web platform features and functionalities
- Creates user stories and use cases to describe the system's functionality from the user's perspective
- Assists with the testing phase by ensuring the developed solution meets the defined requirements
- Supports user training and deployment activities
Qualifications
- Must have Bachelor's degree in any Business or IT-related course
- Must have 3-5 years experience in web development projects, understanding the technologies, processes, and challenges involved
- Must have 3-5 years experience in building, motivating, and managing project teams
- Must have the ability to make timely and informed decisions, often under pressure and with incomplete information
- Must have the ability to effectively negotiate with stakeholders, vendors, and team members to reach mutually beneficial agreements
- Must have general understanding of the technology involved in the web platform development
- Must have the ability to identify potential risks, developing mitigation plans, and monitoring their impact
- Must have knowledge in Project management methodologies, processes and tools
- Experience in Project Management / Business Development / IT background is a plus
- Must have knowledge in Risk Management principles, Quality Management principles
- Must have above-average communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be abreast with business processes and trends/issues
Work Set-up: Hybrid (3x a week on-site; 2x a week work-from-home)
