Overview
We are looking for an experienced Web Marketing Administrator / Web Designer who will lead the management, operation, optimization, and continuous improvement of our website and ecommerce platforms. This role requires a hybrid skill set across web administration, UI/UX design, ecommerce functionality, content updates, conversion optimization, and basic digital marketing support.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the website is updated, functional, visually effective, userfriendly, and optimized for conversions, while supporting ecommerce marketing efforts and content operations. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who understands both front-end design and web marketing performance.
Core Responsibilities
Website Administration & Maintenance
- Oversee full website operations including updates, maintenance, uptime monitoring, site functionality, and security checks.
- Perform routine CMS updates (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, or equivalent) including pages, content, menus, banners, and UI components.
- Monitor and troubleshoot website errors, broken links, layout issues, script conflicts, and integration problems.
- Coordinate with developers for technical fixes, enhancements, and complex troubleshooting.
- Ensure website performance standards including speed, responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile usability.
UI/UX Design & Website Experience
- Design and manage landing pages, page layouts, UI components, and user flows to improve site experience.
- Conduct basic UX research and implement improvements based on user behavior insights.
- Create wireframes, mockups, or visual concepts to guide layout and design decisions.
- Maintain brand consistency across website visuals, typography, animations, and user interactions.
Ecommerce Website Management (Mandatory)
- Manage ecommerce functionality including product listings, categories, pricing, variations, merchandising, and content optimization.
- Ensure accuracy of PDPs, product images, descriptions, and SEO compliance.
- Oversee checkout experience, product discovery, navigation, and customer flow improvements.
- Support ecommerce campaigns and promotions through timely website updates.
Content, Blogs & Email Support
- Maintain website content including banners, homepage updates, product content, blogs, FAQs, and resource pages.
- Create, proofread, or update blog posts, case studies, and ecommerce content based on SEO and brand guidelines.
- Support email marketing by preparing landing pages, upload assets, and coordinating content requirements.
- Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, is SEO-friendly, and contributes to engagement + conversion goals.
Conversion Optimization & Analytics
- Implement CRO recommendationslayout improvements, CTA placements, A/B tests, UX enhancements.
- Monitor website analytics (GA4) for traffic patterns, bounce rates, exit points, engagement, and conversions.
- Report insights and recommend improvements to increase website performance.
- Ensure correct tracking of ecommerce events and user behavior (scroll depth, clicks, addtocart, etc.).
Customer Inquiry Handling (Email Only)
- Monitor website inquiry forms and email submissions.
- Route inquiries to appropriate internal teams; no live chat responsibilities.
Qualifications Required
- 35+ years experience as Web Administrator, Web Designer, Web Marketing Specialist, or similar hybrid role.
- Strong hands-on experience managing CMS websites (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, or similar).
- Proven experience in ecommerce website management (product uploads, PDP optimization, content updates).
- UI/UX capabilities: page layout, user journey optimization, basic Figma/Adobe/Canva design skills.
- Proven experience supporting website conversion optimization, landing page updates, and A/B testing.
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS for minor adjustments (not full coding).
- Experience using GA4, Search Console, heatmaps, or similar analytics.
- Strong content editing skillsblogs, product pages, website copy.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred
- Experience in a BPO/offshoring or client-servicing environment.
- Familiarity with ecommerce tools (Klaviyo, Shopify apps, plugins, GTM integrations).
- Experience with SEO best practices for content structure and metadata.
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (designers, developers, marketing).
