Web Developer

Design, build and test web-based applications for various site components and edit site content. Document technical designs and specifications. Research and incorporate updated content for websites.

Key Accountabilities . To ensure technical solutions are built to solve the customer's problem and drive immediate value. . Building code using the agreed upon best practices around security, quality, security and maintainability. . To ensure minimal regression bugs are released to production. Key Responsibilities . Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices . Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs . Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling the platform . Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities . Control and govern quality outcomes . Adhere to patterns and practices for secure software development . Ensure all code is documented and participate in code reviews . Contribute during estimation and design sessions . Ensure shift left testing policies are implemented, with unit testing being part of each code release . Adhere to the rules in place for our source control management (ie. Git) . Participate in Lightning Talk sessions to share knowledge amongst the group . Mentor and guide the less experienced members of the development team . Participate in software architecture discussions/workshops . Continue to contribute to our CI/CD strategy Must have and Good to have skills . Must have: .NET . Good to have: C#, ASP.NET, Web Services, JavaScript, React/Angular Number of years experience needed . Intermediate Developer o Minimum 3+ years experience as a Senior Developer o Minimum 3 years .NET development experience building highly available web and mobile applications using C#, ASP.NET, Web Services, JavaScript, React/Angular Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
