We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations, with a special focus on managing the storage and distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables. The ideal candidate will have experience in food processing and a strong understanding of the unique challenges associated with handling perishable goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and packing
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards related to food handling and storage
- Implement and maintain warehouse organization and layout to maximize efficiency
- Train and manage warehouse staff, including scheduling, evaluations, and address any issues that arise
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures to improve workflow and minimize waste
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to food safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role, specifically in the fresh produce industry
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics
- Experience in food processing and understanding of food safety standards and regulations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficient in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in any related field is a plus
- Willing to work on-site at our Muntinlupa Warehouse 6x a week
