Job Description

The Warehouse and Logistics Manager oversees the end-to-end operations of the commissary serving multiple restaurant brands under MCW. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate demand planning, efficient batch production, inventory control, on-time deliveries, and alignment with store needs.

The ideal candidate is both operationally sharp and planning-oriented capable of connecting forecasts to production schedules while managing people, systems, and performance KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Oversee raw material, packaging, and finished goods storage.
  • Enforce FIFO, proper documentation, and cycle counts.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records

2. Production Management

  • Work with the Production Manager to ensure batch production aligns with demand and recipe specs.
  • Monitor production KPIs: yield accuracy, wastage, output per labor hour, food safety.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and internal QA standards.

3. Logistics & Distribution

  • Ensure all store deliveries are timely, complete, and in good condition.
  • Optimize delivery schedules and routes for cost and efficiency.
  • Manage 3PL vendors or in-house fleet (drivers, helpers, vehicles).

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Regularly sync with Store Operations to gather feedback and forecast demand.
  • Collaborate with R&D on new product launching, ensuring production readiness.
  • Coordinate with Finance to control costs and justify budget variance.

5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor and report on KPIs: forecast accuracy, yield variance, stock accuracy, OTIF, wastage
  • Lead weekly performance reviews with supervisors
  • Recommend process improvements to reduce cost, waste, and lead times
