Assisting in the daily, hands-on management of warehouse activities (inbound, outbound, inventory) to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations.
Leading stock counts, cycle counts, and physical inventories to ensure accurate inventory levels and proper stock rotation
Assigning tasks to warehouse personnel, supervising daily performance, and identifying training needs or coaching opportunities.
Enforcing safety protocols, conducting safety checks, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment (5S standards).
Identifying inefficiencies in workflow and implementing process improvements or digitalization initiatives.
Preparing and analyzing reports regarding inventory discrepancies, productivity metrics, and equipment maintenance, often using warehouse management software.
Required Skills & Qualifications
24 years in warehouse operations, with previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or senior staff.
Strong ability to supervise, coach, and delegate tasks to personnel.
Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
Ability to solve operational issues quickly.
High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
